Usually before you leave Dallas, there's a vacancy with numbers that the company chooses (per base). Within your class, based on DOB, the class bids for those openings. Obviously behind everyone already on the seniority list. So you're getting what's left over.
You select your bases in order you like them, and you get what you can hold. You can update your list whenever you'd like.

www.myseniority.com was updated with the latest vacancy bid as a of 04/30.
New pilots: that website is a great tool to see what domiciles you can hold, or how far out you are from holding the one that you might want. You won’t find yourself on there until the first month that you participate in a vacancy bid.

Still shows it going senior to me. I get at least a one month reprieve. Gotta admit i'm really surprised that it's going that junior though.

On the SWAPA site.
1. Click RESOURCES
2. Click SRC tools
3. Click VACANCY PROJECTION
4. Click GET REPORT
Second column from the right shows the approximate seniority number that will be awarded based on what everyone currently has in their vacancy bid.
So for example is BWI says 727X it means that someone from seniority number 7270-7279 will be awarded the bid (if nobody changes their bid before it closes)
