Please explain. I was here for the last contract when PJ and company came out with TA1 and touted our huge improvements. They then went on a road show and told us that was what we were getting and nothing more.
I was ready to quit this place if it passed. Glad it didn't.
Since then the company has stonewalled, obfuscated, and furloughed. The pilots here aren't feeling the LUV anymore, I can assure you, and neither is SWAPA.

What about SL9 dealing with AT, and before that the age 65 debate. SWAPA actually came out with a flow chart trying to explain that no FO's upgrades would be delayed by age 65. I still have the chart! It was all smoke and mirrors. There have been dozens of Ex SWAPA reps and former Presidents who have gone and worked for the company against this pilot group, the most recent was Carl, but there were others before him. And I can bet you a dollar to a donut our current President and some of his minions will be next.

I'll bet a dollar and a donut that you're wrong.
Agreed, SWAPA 1.0 sucked. This pilot group is not the same one that I got hired here with. No more Aw shucks, don't tell Herb I would do this job for free mentality.

It is a little confusing. Most junior left seater is around 400 numbers senior to a pilot hired at the top of 2014.
About 850 FOs senior to that pilot can hold Captain right now though.
So 850 decided “no thanks” to OAK, but could’ve held it if they wanted to. That’s a big number!

I’m betting the bids will stay Junior until Fall and then bypassers will take the fall/winter spots. 2015 hires prob be upgrading next summer if they want.
