Something to ponder. Swapa wants to restore efficiency to pilot scheduling. This will allow for more open time opportunities for those senior enough to enjoy them...
... while delaying an already lengthy upgrade for FOs. Switching seats is the single largest pay raise of a SW pilot's career.
Not saying I agree or disagree. Just something else to ponder when negotiating for improvements. Unintended consequences and whatnot.

We’ll see. I sincerely hope you’re right. Seems like the 1,221 would be a no-brainer block of no votes. But, history tells me not to expect much from any particular cohort within this pilot group. Propaganda (FUD) has proven to be very effective in destroying resistance within this group. The Venn diagram, after all, between this pilot group and people who believe there’s a secret underground lair full of deep state socialist cannibal satan worshippers hewed into the ground beneath a Washington DC pizza parlor probably exhibits quite a bit of overlap. Just sayin’.
