I don't know what the hell is going on in this thread but one thing I know for sure...never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line!

Why? I’m a foreigner myself. People ask me where I’m from because they’re genuinely interested. I’m the same way with other foreigners. What does any of this have to do with an airline hiring pilots that can transport people from Point A to Point B safely?

What’s racist about asking a person’s background? I happen to like people and hearing about what makes them unique as well as what makes them tick. I also appreciate hearing how they got to where they are as well as telling my story. If someone can’t take a little sincere inquiry then maybe they should shut themselves in to protect their delicate feelings.

Yeah I can see it now. I’m betting the butthurt is actually you being mistaken for an Italian.
Were you born there?
Guess what, I toured all over Sicily and was asked many times where I was from.
I can’t believe you are serious. I’m first generation and a dual citizen with immigrant parents (one from Alto-Adige area). English was not my first language. I have an uncommon name and am asked where I’m from all the time. People are interested.
What happened to that Sicilian pride?
I seriously hope you are trolling, otherwise you are going to have a long life of this inferred hatred. Let me guess-all airlines in this country are full of hatred towards Sicilians.

This ^^^^^. English is a second language for me as well. I have an uncommon name and people are genuinely interested in my background.
Few things **** me off more than those that are too lazy to take advantage of the American Dream like my family and I have.
