Hahahaha. Nice shot Ace! What does this have to do with SWAPA? Don’t you have a private dinner to attend at the Udvar Hazy Museum at Dulles? I heard the open bar only goes to 10:00pm. Just don’t let any ALPA Pilots know what you’re doing with their dues money.

Rather the opposite I think. Uncle Dave has some good ideas and financial principles but he alienated a LOT of people over his insistence that a contract can be violated at a company's convenience.
Pay me or furlough me, per the contract, and that's fine. Instead, Dave went on record as a union buster supporting contract violation and at least among the SWA pilots who were paying attention that's not supportable, union or not.
Uncle Dave jumped the shark and showed a bit of his true anti-union colors. He already has enough haters he won't notice that he's ****ed off yet another group of people, but I think it might be the first time that I know of that he's both been WRONG, and truly offended so many people with the kind of net worth and career earnings you can get with professional pilots, as a result of actual hard work and not inherited or passive income.

Ain’t that the truth. At CAL we had an unapologetic scab in charge of ALPA professional standards. The union, CP offices, and the training department were full of them. You could even get in big trouble for just saying the word. I’m sure glad that those days are over.
