Wait a second, you don't want a dues increase and less to show for it?! Dude tried too hard selling ALPA. I've noticed he hasn't been back.

You must be an ALPA National Guy. I suppose you guys would have around 20 million reasons why you want SWA Pilots to join. And it has nothing to do with helping pilots. Think of all the expensive dinners and happy hours you guys can buy for that.

Nope.....Not even a volunteer...It was a suggestion. All of you are heartbroken by Gary&Co. The warrior spirit and servant heart have been rent asunder. How dare they threaten you....All of you do know that ALPA is not ALPA National right....If Southwest Airlines pilot association will meet your needs during your divorce from Gary&Co then that is a good thing. There is no question that almost all of you will be back to carrying the water for Southwest Airlines in the near future. You all were hired to be water carriers. You cant help it....

Troll is trolling. What an absolute sham. Our in house union runs circles around ALPA in so many ways it’s laughable. ALPA and it’s leaders are dues wh0res and provide little in the way of truly benefiting the pilots that need it the most. Go back under your rock.

So then there was no worry of furlough and all is well in the House SWA. Good to know. Just a couple of bed pishers and whiners then.

It seems to me that you have an axe to grind. I’m sorry SWA hiring said no. Plenty of grumbling about the Virgin merger over there at Alaska, no? Who’s whining here?

Let me put it this way... no Southwest pilot taxies past an Embraer or CRJ in Southwest colors grumbling about outsourcing of a single Southwest pilot job.

That is going to leave a mark .

Sidebar. I probably should not be so smug, our own union was trying to shove codeshare down our throats.. They just changed the name to interline and kept spouting it is good codeshare, not bad codeshare.

Amen. SWAPA has done (almost) a complete 180 since 2016. There is still decades of damage to fix, but at least they're trying now, whereas before, they just kept making things worse.

As for ALPA National, they’re a weak-dick “association” in my experience and I’m happy to hopefully never have anything to do with them again.
Yup, I worked for 3 ALPA carriers before coming here, and was a LEC rep at one of them. I agree 100%.

Really it all comes down to your local reps and what their personality, values and especially their tenacity is like no matter if you’re ALPA or in-house.

As a former ALPA member at two previous carriers, let me make my feelings clear......F—K ALPA (National).
Amen....... Again.....
