Default Stimulus agreed to w/airline relief - 20 Dec

Don't know how much it helps SWA in terms of the furlough threat. Sounds like it covers a period expiring the end of Mar? Still needs to be voted on. Not “passed” yet so thread title kind of inaccurate. My bad.

Unless the vaccines really kick in effectively by the end of March and thus travel demand starts to return, we’ll still be grossly over staffed. That said, let’s take what we can get for now.

How many EXTOers are coming back in March 1? I read it somewhere but don't remember.

you mean unless the governors open up their states...
I still see some states locking down well into summer regardless.

Maybe this will give the company an excuse to extend or re-bid some ExTO?

Tough to tell since company comm on ExTO makes no damn sense. I can’t imagine how frustrated our NC must be.

They will still threaten furlough to get concessions and potentially furlough April 1st. I mean there’s a reason it was dated April 1st

FM is their ultimate goal. Don’t give up on the compensation, but don’t get distracted by it either.
