future stimulus
Management should be reminded that "...if we’re so fortunate to have the federal government act and extend the PSP through next March as has been proposed, then all these pay-cut efforts will be discontinued or reversed. So, to repeat, if the PSP is extended, we will discontinue these pay-cut efforts."

Seems like SWA mgmt is not letting a good crisis go to waste to come after your money. Sad to play politics with this which will result in goodwill gone for a long time to come. Completely understand the exponential growth of the 5/20 club.
Good luck to us all

I said it before and I'll repeat it again. I'm more than happy to vote YES for any SWAPA-wide assessment to pay our furloughees up to the guarantee and cover their families' medical if they need it. I'm also OK with ExTO's being exempted from this - they have given up more than enough already.
I want our contract protected. I want our unity to grow. I don't want to see any in-fighting over open time. Simple, you fly more, you simply pay more and our junior pilots never worry about going hungry or being without insurance while on furlough. I don't want anything to weaken or even remotely compromise our resolve and unity.
Having said that, I'm a HARD NO to any concessions to the company to the point I'd rather pay more in SWAPA furlough assessment than a smaller paycut by the Company.
To the 1200 or so affected pilots, please print this notice and frame it. Have it ready to show anytime you hear some GO flunky or a starry-eyed newhire down the road talk about "the culture." For the future generations, I want the "culture" to refer to SWAPA because it sure as hell ain't Southwest Airlines.

This is why pilots never get anywhere. The company hired these pilots with mutually agreed to pay rates, benefits and work rules. It’s the company’s responsibility to keep them whole. The company would love nothing more than to see the pilot group solve their manning issues while we pay those on the street via an assessment. I’m sure there’s plenty out there salivating about the prospects ahead but I know where I stand....
