If the company is “transparent” with SWAPA about the cost savings they are looking for, they will get plenty of viable options from SWAPA to help reduce costs. I’m sure another round of EXTO/VSP would satisfy the savings if they would quantify we need x number of pilots for x number of months...

Several (3) friends at the GO requested ETO for three months and each were declined. Manager was willing to give one employee ETO for one month. She declined. We are VP heavy and the organizational charts as astronomical, yet ETO and ExTo for non-union employees was on a case by case basis. Start trimming the fat at the GO and offer more ETO across the board.

point taken. I only ask because we just bent over and raised our skirts for the company at UA. I wouldn’t be surprised if GK uses the same scare tactics there that SK did here. Oh, and as far as his pay cut, what a joke. I bet it’s less than 10% of his total compensation. How dumb do they think we are?

I think people would be weary to go on exto if offered again given the change in hourly late clause no one noticed before

Correct. They begged pilots to take a 40% paycut to save jobs, and then called them suckers while demanding 10% more.

Not a single pilot would bid exto if offered again.

SW was waiting for someone to actually pull the trigger knowing that would give an extra kick to their ultimatum.

Speaking of Dave Ramsey, because of him our financial house is in order and we’re ready to weather a furlough. Thanks to Dave, my vote is no.

Well that would be a bad assumption. Do you pay attention to the posters’ identities?😂

Whack is a freaking legend.
