I've never been happier to lose a bet! Now just have to decide when to jump the trash bag.

Year 2 should be able to break 200K if you hustle. If not 180K is more doable.

Year 3 should have no problem hitting 200K, 250K if you like to work and or don't have a home life.
Year 2 I made 140k. Next to impossible to make 200k on year 2 pay. Year 3 is more like 160-175k

You can do it if you’re lucky enough to give stuff away and work all the time. That’s roughly 150tfp/mo.

I did close to $170k on yr 2 but pay was $97/tfp then. Did $190k-ish yr 3 and cleared $200k on yr 4.

BUT…I live in base and work OT…I don’t live on the computer like some people though. 2-3 days extra a month and I shut it down.

Hah, def NOT impossible. I did it with 9 months year 2 pay and 3 months year 3 pay (made over 200K) Yes I worked a bunch but Its still doable and many guys did a ton more than I did. Just depends what youre willing to do.

Far from impossible, especially if you live in base and play the game.

This may have been answered recently, but I couldn't find it easily. Is there any estimate to how long it would take to hold HOU as a newhire?

A couple bids typically (we bid every month). Very occasionally HOU has new hires.

Same.

It's bad for QOL, great for pay.

20+ new hires got BWI this last bid cycle including me.

Reserve? Not sure of details yet as I just recently got signed off of IOE. I do believe we are the only carrier to give 14-16 days off on reserve depending on how many days are in a month. What I do know is that the whole month you will be either am or pm reserve. AM availability time starts around 4 and pm starts around 11 depending on base. Union has been putting info out that reserve usage is around 85%.

Hope that helps.
