SWA or JetBlue

FWIW a friend of mine has tried twice to leave JB and come to SW. For him itd about pay per day. He can make more at SW for the same days or fewer. Also he lives in MCO and at SW it's much quicker to get as FO. As Cpt, forget about it, but for him FO pay at SW is enough for now. Obviously he didn't get the opportunity and now being there 3 yrs he's going to stay. Not worth the move now.
Maybe something to consider. Jb is going to merge or buy or be bought at some point and there is not as many pilots on their list so the integration might be different.
Sw days they want to grow organically and if they did buy someone I can't see it being anyone of size.

Thank you guys for your opinion ... and if it was just a couple of months ago there was no doubt ... but now:
a. MAX grounded
b. 1200 FO overstaffed
c. rumors of possible furlough (which I think is just BS) ...
JB looks like a better place ...

Where did you get the 1200 overstaff number?
Don’t forget the MAX is grounded for UAL, and AA as well...
So from yesterday to today you go 180?
Ok. Consider the possibility that within 6 months the MAX is back online. Would your opinion change then?
Also, do you have CJOs from both carriers?

What are the main reasons? I'm holding CJO's from a legacy and SWA. It seems like greater seniority and pay for the legacy; better scheduling and more time off for SWA. I'm still trying to decide so I'd appreciate to hear anything I'm missing.

Where do you live and what's the legacy you got the CJO from? What are your priorities? (Time off, schedule flexibility, airplane, routes, benefits, etc.)

I don't think those numbers are correct ... but I might be wrong! SWA is overstaffed but that bad I doubt!
