Yep. Pay needs to be equal to Delta, United, etc for same equipment. Especially with Premium not being readily available.

Hell we are almost there already. Last month every trip to the overnight got in well past midnight.
From newhire to fourth year I’ve never gone below 100 TFP. Of course, I trade and all that stuff, but for a better trip.
I drive two hours to work so I pretty much fly my line. Three on four off and it pays 106 so far.

Amen... Don't hold your breath though..... That 108 nonsense has been going on for a LONG time.

Pay for similar equipment needs to be greater to offer a career with similar lifetime earnings and to make up for the lack of options in regard to type of flying and schedules. People change. Flexibility has value.

I never understood this mentality and quite frankly if I was the company I’d probably laugh out loud if my pilots asked for compensation for the B737 to be greater than our peers at the legacies just because we didn’t have the widebody option at SWA.

I won’t spend negotiating capital on something that doesn’t make sense. Eventually we may offer another type....but you can’t come work here and demand more $ because your buddy can fly a 757 and you can’t.
