Screw that. I complained directly to Bob in PHX and upwards from there. You should do the same!

I don’t believe rocky is involved in hiring anymore. The interview prep thing is driven by a few people with an agenda. Hopefully they will get rooted out or change their minds. The whole stupid thing is just a game to begin with that has multi million dollar stakes. To think that folks wouldn’t try and prepare themselves for something they have never done is mind boggling.

I used it (ECIC) and got hired.

I'm a 48-year-old career changer, getting close to completing training at YX, and my ultimate goal is WN. Of course I plan on pursuing any leadership opportunities that may come my way in the future, and I already do volunteer community service work. Wondering how much of a benefit my masters degree will be when the time comes to apply? And should I start applying at 2500 total time (I'll have 1000 SIC 121 by then)? I know that 1000 PIC 121 is "preferred", but wondered if anyone is getting invited to an interview without that. Thanks in advance for the help.

Both of those are minimums but yes, I'd start applying when you hit the 2500 total time. Some folks are being hired with less than 1000 TPIC but obviously many more are being hired with much more.

But you can't be the exception if they don't know you exist.

Definitely apply when you are eligible.

Apply at the first window that opens after you get the minimum requirements! Southwest values people who really, really wanna work here. Once you apply, update the application at least once a month. Apply at every wondow. And yes, your MA matters. It adds your app extra points.I'll never know why they picked me, but I'm willing to bet my masters degree tipped the scale. Good luck!

Default 737 cargo SIC or regional CRJ PIC?

I’m sitting at 4000 TT with about 600 TPIC and am wondering what would look better. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

What are the options?

Otherwise we will just tell you to become an LCA...

I would think the CRJ PIC would better serve you. No real added value for 737 experience that I can see, at this point. The PIC shows development, whereas the 737 SIC could be seen as lateral.
What would be the upgrade time frame in the 737? Could you get stuck in the right seat?
