Default A valid driver's license

Being out of the US for many years and didn't have the time to renew my driver's license. Is it not having a valid driver's license an automatically a disqualifier for the position?

It's a requirement for the position, I wouldn't risk something going wrong by not having one.

Default Which job posting?

Southwest currently has two first officer job postings open, one with a requisition number ending in “xxx18”, the other “xxx19”. I assume one of them is only for attendees of the most recent job fair, but have no proof of this. Does anyone know to which posting those of us who did NOT attend should apply?

I received an email from Southwest on Friday, 2-15-19, that said, “Unfortunately you did not receive an invitation to interview from the Aug 2018 hiring window (…) You are welcome to apply during the next hiring window which will be from Feb 17th - Mar 20th...” The word “next” makes me think perhaps I should apply to requisition “xxx18” and leave “xxx19” to the job fair folks, but it’s still a bit unclear.

The xxx18 job posting is for those who didn't attend the career expo last week.

There is only one open now, so apply to that one.

BrightYellow...

Its funny because I had the same problem... Lol. I actually did laugh at the fact I was very qualified... except I didn't have a US Drivers' license as I too worked overseas (Turkish Airlines at the time).

I actually had to do it while on my last vacation back to the US before I could apply.

An odd requirement and for the life of me, I can't figure out why they need that!! :-)

Thank you Kap for your reply. I guessed I would need to do that on my next trip back to the US. I am pretty sure it would be a closed complete again this time! 😂
