I wore the suit, took my jacket off and put it in the overhead of the blazing hot 300 I flew down in. Then I ironed my shirt like a cheap pilot and wore it again the next day.
Nobody is going to care as long as you look sharp. I wouldn’t sweat a couple of wrinkles. Your jacket will be off for most of the actual interview anyway, so your shirt and tie will be the area of focus for anyone who cares.

I wore slacks and a collared shirt on the flight in. Unpacked my suit and hung it up right away. It was about the only thing in my carryon, so didn’t get wrinkles crushed in. It was still nicely pressed looking at the afternoon interview. Flew home in the suit.
Good Luck!

I flew in business casual on the ticket SWA purchased for me. Slacks, decent shoes, nice polo shirt. Suit, suit pants, dress shirt, etc., were in a garment bag carefully folded in my usual flying roller bag. Unpacked it and smoothed out wrinkles as soon as I got to the hotel, ran an iron over one or two of the most obvious ones before going to bed the night prior.

FWIW, the hotel staff knew I was interviewing. The ops agents when I checked in knew also. Assume everyone who works here knows and go by that. Don’t overdo it, but you are an applicant the minute you check in.

Go say hi to the pilots. I introduced yourself. Remember their names. Say hi to the stews and remember their names. You might be asked this in the interview.
