Logbook

I thought that once. For four years I didn’t keep a logbook of any kind. And then 9/11.
Afterwards the minimum and competitive requirements for anyone left hiring were dramatically elevated. Applications asked for a variety of breakdowns of flying time... but all I had for those four years were monthly totals. Restoring my logbook quickly so that I could compete for those jobs was challenging and required a lot of guesswork. I told myself never again will I be unprepared for furlough, bankruptcy, force majeur or other career speed bumps.
I highly recommend you keep it up to date. Only takes a few minutes every month or two.

Logbook Pro app on my phone and synced to the PC/cloud. It’s pretty quick and easy.
I didn’t get this far to stop counting lol, and it’s easier to keep up than catch up I think.

log book
Anyone recently hired recommend an Excel template for there logbooks? Also, if you made your own Excel spreadsheet, exactly how does SWA want your times broken down on the spreadsheet? Thanks in advance.

My logbook is current as of my last flight, every time and without fail. Once I'm home, it's synced across all my devices. Every month or two, I create another cloud backup of my logbook. But that's just me.
