What about in-laws? My parents are both dead, any chance I can list my wife's parents without having them adopt me first? 😂

I have the same question. My wife wants her parents to get the benefits since mine are gone (although I do have a step mom who wants them too).

Unfortunately, no. It has to be the employee’s parents. I would want the same as you. My dad is a retired American Airlines guy, so he already gets pass privileges. I would have loved to name my wife’s parents. They make you bring something confirming they are your parents. Marriage certificate, etc.

In addition to this, I was told that it had to be any two “parents” of the pilot. My father is gone, but my mom and her boyfriend who is a common law husband can use my benefits. Family situations are complicated so they understand if it isn’t your two natural parents.
