The minimum that Scheduling says is something like 36 hours from last sim to first IOE trip. I've known guys that were about that. If you're driving a long distance (which I did...having a car is huge, especially during sims), it can be tight. I had three days. I glanced at the board of a friend of mine behind me and he had around 5 days. YMMV.

I think we should start calling it a 'schedule' instead of a 'board'. After a few thousand newhires make the change to the vernacular it'll go away. It's not a board it's a schedule. It's not provisioning it's catering.

Hahaha. Love it. I'm of the same opinion. In fact, I refuse to call it a "board"

I still call it a board. And I refuse to say "Dixie" in the ATL. Does this make me a bad person?

I'd say they cancel each other out.

At the risk of sounding flip, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting....'cause it's not Brand X, it's SWA.

Default Training timeline for typed vs no-type

Can anyone offer any insight on the training for those who are typed vs those who are not? Same oral, loft, etc?
