And 100’s more ASA pilots (that would have been happy to merge with skyw pilots) are off to skyw competitors (Envoy, PSA, etc...). The attrition in January will be massive to those places. I’m sure those airlines would like to thank chip personally.
Will be fun to watch Chip try to staff skyw over the next few years as attrition picks up. Might be wishing he had held on to the ASA folks. But hey, at least when the skyw pilots are flying max days on and min days off, sapa will be there looking out for you.
Well done chip

These emails on the west coast are pathetic.. "We need HELP today... and we'll send you a thank you note if you do!" How about "We need HELP today.. 300% critical pay if you do!"

You will only get a personal thanks If you first message chief to let him know that you "helped out". Recognition is so underrated.

How many do you need? You’re the one getting impatient. Definite possibility we see more airplane announcements in 2018. I’m not guaranteeing anything. I’m just basing my input off what I heard during the summer. Like I said, rumor mill has been quiet lately. Personally I don’t wanna see more plane orders anytime soon.

Ya. I figured the last batch of the “100” would be fall 2018-2019. We alread took on 60 in 2017 have 42 announced for 2018.. they need to be spread out or will have serious staffing issues...
