Wait, sapa says there is a good reason for no commuter clause yet they won’t disclose the reason?

Again, can you answer any of the questions I asked earlier? Does every cheif pilot in the system use the same exact criteria when determining a pilot’s fate? And how can anyone be assured of that unless there is a contractual commuter policy?

Everything goes through TG. Honestly. The west coast chief just got sent back to the line. He was one of the ones less favorable...

His termination was directly from T.G. he wanted to make an example out of someone. Have also heard from the west coast chief in his opinion "7 missed days in a year should be grounds for termination"

Wow that's pretty incredible that essentially missing 2 trips a year is grounds for termination.

I wasn't going to say it, but yes TG was the one who wanted me to go. My BCP was not any help in the situation, all around not a good experience. I was told AFTER I turned in my badge and all my CASS bennies to find a way to St George and pretty much beg TG for my job back, because he's an understanding guy... That's where I drew the line and said no thanks, at that point I had already talked to other airlines and found employment elsewhere. I was on the horn with SAPA throughout the whole process. Great guys as well, just an unfortunate outcome. I am very very lucky that this happened now, and not 10 years ago because that would have been all she wrote on my airline career. In fact I'm sure I'll be a regional lifer now, explaining that story will be quite the headwind at a major interview down the road

SkyWest is a great place that has great crews and the training is top notch, just be careful if you're a commuter. The lack of any union protection and the "mood" of management on a daily basis is not a good thing IMHO. Just my .02. I'm now returning to my lurker status before I get trolled by the obvious people in this community

Even the sapa guys involved have said there was much more to this story. I feel for you man but it seems as though you’re leaving out some details.

Honestly I have no idea what else I'm missing. I mean if I could I would publish my training records on here and whatever other evidence needed. Thanks for bringing that to my attention though, I'll be in touch with SAPA shortly knowing they're saying that. I went down without much resistance in my opinion, but I won't let the company nor SAPA act like there was more to the story dragging my name through the mudd... And if there was more to story, I'll find out because it will be news to me as well.

MH got removed? Any idea why?

I know TP was removed because he created an adversarial atmosphere with the SLC pilots.

MH was the sorriest excuse for a human being I've ever had the displeasure of flying with. A complete tool who committed three fairly egregious errors of airmanship in the single 2-day I did with him.
