Typical KSCessnaDriver mentally. "I subconsciously hate myself for choosing Endeavor instead of SkyWest, so I will release an unprovoked passive-aggressive attack and lambast 4500 pilots whom I do not personally know or will ever make an effort to understand. Then I'll complain on every pilot forum known to man why Delta doesn't give me flow!!!!1!"

When will you people come to grips with the fact that we are all in the same fight together? And then we ask ourselves why regionals and whipsaw exist. What a shame. You'd better be careful what you post here, brotha. It isn't hard for mainline recruiting to find out your identity. APC isn't as anonymous as you would like to believe. The tools for background checking at their disposal are beyond the realm of what you think is possible or even legal.

I have no desire to work at a place that is willing to whatever they can to put senior pilot groups out of work. ALPA and other union represented carriers, yes, we are in the same fight together. Skywest, no, you aren't...

The problem is, the minions at Skywest don't care, they just see that as growth, to hell with the people they put out of a job.

Default I do agree OO pilots are not scabs, but

Your flight isn’t with OO pilots.
I do agree OO pilots are not scabs. With that said, I do feel the OO pilot group has greatly benefitted from the effort and cash of their unionized peers. The Clint Eastwood trajedy that is ALPA is in itself not deserving of anyone's respect at the regional level, but the OO group's repeated refusal to support their profession in the only way possible, is shameful. Unfortunately ALPA is the only professional organization available to airline pilots, but it does have a long list of accomplishments which directly benefit pilots of OO. Just to name one- KCM would not exist without ALPA. How many OO pilots use KCM? A few is my guess.

I disagree, man. Your obsession with SkyWest pilots not only on APC but also on JetCareers are somewhat telling of something. Were you rejected from here in the past and now don't know how to handle your rage? Also it's really funny reading your entitled sentiment and whining all over the internet about how you don't have flow to Delta. Why don't you work for it just like everyone else? I am sure that the fine personnel on the Delta recruiting team would just be delighted to have a toolbag like you come work for them.

??? You're a REGIONAL pilot! That's the whole point of BEING a regional pilot.... to be replaced when you get too expensive and comfortable. Don't like it? Move on...

I work for an ALPA legacy, worked for an ALPA regional, and voted yes at SKW ten years ago.

The failing is not on the part of the SKW pilots. Although they may regret not having a union as attrition ramps up and outmatches recruiting, and everyone is chained to the oar.

What do you suggest they do about it? ALPA won't help that, they don't intervene in regional whipsaws. If you're a high-longevity regional pilot your days are numbered... unless you're willing to take a big pay cut.

It has nothing to do with real skywest pilots, they're along for the ride... it has to with CFI's going where the fast upgrades are.

I guess endeavor pilots are going to put themselves out of business if they pass their TA? Air Wisconsin is still in business despite their industry leading contract.
