A scab is a person who “crosses a picket line” regardless of whether you are a union member or not. Reference the non-union pilots who crossed the Spirit line.

Also, I would take issue with one thing he said, highest pay.

[QUOTE=HuntinFishin;2464871]A scab is also anyone who willingly or even unwittingly replaces union worker. Superseding their contract or ability to maintain their bargaining power for better work rules, benefits, or higher wages effectively weakening at this point the pilot profession as a whole.[/QUOT

Not even close. Big difference between willingly and unwittingly.

With the reduction of CRJ lines in every domicile west of DEN, and SEA CRJ winding down by mid-next year, I think it's a safe bet that the E175 is the plane to get on if you want the west coast. Captain slots are a different story though... I think as more transition you will see more CRJ junior CA openings too.

It will be interesting to see how we can staff these new aircraft, especially with the "aggressive" scheduling. They better start ramping up the E175 training dept... EDIT: and recruiting efforts lol.

How do we have union brothers?
You have 5 posts and a new account. Slow weekend? Didn’t want to miss use “scab” with your real account? Boring.

Xjt is loaded with bubba.

Sorry not even close again. Plenty of examples of “unionized brethren” absorbing flying from one carrier to another.

Crossing a picket line is an entirely different animal.

Your flight isn’t with OO pilots.

And that is the opinion of ONE person. Just glad to know that you won't be applying here.

Oh don't be naive many people feel the way I do nearly 2000, 2 times that if you include cabin crew and MX. Its just unfortunate you don't realize will be going backwards in pay shortly after st George throws the last shovel of dirt on XJTS coffin. You think your pay is where it's at because you negotiated it. Laughable sky.. Scabwest only pays what they do because they couldn't pay you less than they pay XJT personnel. Your welcome you had union negotiators and didn't even have to pay dues. Good luck once the economy takes a turn and you've got no protection. Now I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way, it Shure will be fun to watch the rug get yanked out from beneath you when your time comes. TIC TOC.
