Default Skywest v2.0

I don't know if all the 700's are spoken for for those coming off contract this year. The contract chart on SWOL hasn't been updated. You'd think -200 should be parked but it looks like a few -700's are going first. But we have to operate those flights we can barely staff, such as Monroe, LA and I think I saw Wilmington, NC on my schedule next month. Woo! Soon we'll open back up ATL, DTW, and even CVG I bet! You heard it here first.

I get that not everyone is a college graduate but straight from the Prez:

"To date we still haven’t reached an agreement with the company. I’m not sure we ever will. We (SAPA) have a number of proposals that we would like to resolve before we entertain any company suggestions."

I would try reading your SWOL emails and working on your reading comprehension instead of just regurgitating the junk that the bitter former SAPA President spews out on the forum. The Chicken Little atmosphere over there is exhausting.

Call a rep and ask if they voted on it. There needs to be more spewing in those forums. Until then nothing is going to get fixed, but it is growing momentum.

That bitter/former president stood up for the pilots while he was the president. The current EB is just waiting for their management position.

Some 200's will go away as they time out.. But the 700's seem safe.... But now that Republic is droping a 30 aircraft fleet out from under DL (the 145's) i wouldnt be suprised if 200's stay longer. Jives with the vacancy for more MSP CA's/FO's.. And new BNA hanger..

He did stand up for pilots when he was president, but he's also running his own personal agenda now that he's sniping from the sidelines. I wholeheartedly believe there is stuff worth changing and improving here. Raising allegations about things that haven't actually happened and getting his gullible flock in a frenzy does not help the cause.

There's always vacancies in MSP though. It has such high turnover when people finally get the base they want that every month is going to show 10-20 vacancies on the domicile vacancy report.

Yes. But look year over year. MSP will be bigger then SLC soon. And to think 2 years ago there were under 100 pilots based there...

A large part of that had to do with endeavor not being able to staff their flying.

I remember getting a reserve SLC captain a few years ago. He was adamant that MSP was going to shut down within a year. All because of a recent announcement that we were getting a few 900's from Comair or maybe Pinnacle and they were only to be SLC based. Thought that was amusing. Though I wish no ill will toward those guys. Back then MSP was suppose to be a small base and IAH was going to grow to 300 crews.

And now we have more crews that flow into detroit and do flying there than we have in houston.
