Pure speculation on my part, but look at the Expressjet route map. There’s a lot of flying out of LGA. We just added JFK to the OpSpecs but only as an alternate/refueling airport. With Expressjet closing up the Delta operation, I bet that the flying will be divided up mostly between OO and 9E.

Any CTP FO instructors out there? What's the job been like lately? Schedule, pay, flying, etc?
Is there any crj ctp in Denver or is that just recurrent still?

Not an instructor but I just did my CTP in Denver a few months ago. I’m CRJ and we had a mix of CRJ/ERJ folk in the class...

"The revised Flight Ops Reposition Program (FORP) proposal is in the Proposed Policy section of the SAPA documents area. This replaces the policy passed by SAPA a few years ago and provides for a more robust program with additional protections to the pilot group. The new proposal is a vastly upgraded and improved version of the original policy.
Specifically it allows for a small cadre of retired captains and flight ops cadets who can hold a type rating, but not an ATP, to reposition aircraft under part 91 rules. The goal of the program is to:
Relieve pressure on revenue reserves, and by extension line holders in order to provide relief to the large number of block hours being flown, particularly those flights that are the less desirable and less efficient part 91 flights.
To provide flight hours and mentorship to selected cadets in order to bring them on line as Part 121 qualified First Officers.
To add another dimension of compliance to the FAA's mandate for pilot career mentorship.
SAPA is to continually monitor the program and to insure that the program provides some metric showing that these goals are having a measurable affect and the program will be under the purview of the PPM, changes to pay/scope etc will have to be approved by SAPA."

So changes in pay would have to be approved by the entire pilot group I assume, correct? Since the SAPA bylaws require all pay changes to go to a pilot-wide vote.
Just sounds like another way SAPA is helping the company solve its staffing issues.

Republic is solid. Compass planes will become Endeavors if I had to guess..

Tough call.
Help relieve staffing pressure and enhance QOL for line pilots, while still growing?
Allow SGU to get by without paying more to attract/retain pilots?
I honestly don't know which it is... maybe both.
