5*45=225 pilots added to the list of 4470 today.

I've noticed the list makes incremental gains by about 40 a month despite hiring over 100 pilots a month.

It's going to take a lot of hiring to properly staff the new 175s. Provided they all are delivered in 2018 of course.

The math looking backwards is that we can take on about 40 new airframes per year if we staff 10 pilots per plane. And that is about what we have planned for 2018.

We also have contracts expiring, but they took down that nugget of info.

Pretty sure this pay agreement isn't making it to 5 years.

Not really. Many SKW people are hired by majors and they are not "shunned" by anyone that I've ever heard of. My legacy buddies generally agree that alpa has no business with the regionals, they consider it a conflict of interest...especially UAL guys who have been around 15-20 years.

8 per seat. 16 per aircraft. That will probably settle in closer to 6 or 7 per seat.

I’ve always heard the same range from 6-8 as well. 6 always seemed like a good conservative number.

Wow a 5000 pilot seniority list is really close to 13 pilots per aircraft. Adding nearly 600 pilots to the list is going to be tough. We would need to grow the seniority list by 40 pilots every month with out fail until January 2019.

Not unfathomable. List has grown by 1200ish over the last 3 years. Definitely have to throw some more money out there to get those numbers though. We’re pushing 4500 already.
