For some reason there is a growing "rif" between SkyWest and Compass.. guys we're both subcontractors!!! We will loss flying. Everyone gets a turn at that..

I think you mean "rift" , it's a geological term.

Actually I think he meant "riff", as in guitar. Compass and Skywest pilots are putting together a band.

Yes. "Rift" . Sorry i have kids jumping on me.. but trying to stay involved in this conversation... on a side note we do have some former "rockers" at OO. One of them was quite famous..

Not true. ALPA is still very interested in assisting SkyWest. Yes, the initial organization effort needs to start internally, but ALPA is willing and able to assist in getting the ball rolling. In fact they already are.

Not saying anything is going to come of any of it. In fact, I dont't have high hopes at all, but efforts are underway, and they most definitely include ALPA.

Hmm, well, care to explain why ExpressJet had Soft Landings 2.0 before we did, when SAPA were the ones to negotiate it? Seems like everything we get, XJT gets first. Why do you suppose that is?

I'm not shocked. I believed they had plans for growth but if I could do it over again I would still vote no.
No matter how many airplanes we receive, it isn't worth voting in a loss of pay and more importantly taking away negotiating power from other regionals.
