Exactly!! Stop freaking put about EFB's and checklists!!! Start talking about part time pilots stealing all the JRM and getting paid the same as full time pilots!!!

Having an ipad may be an improvement. However, for myself, this is more about appropriate use of technology. For checklists, paper has worked for a long time, it is in the same place every time (center of the glare shield in it's holder), it does not require batteries, you can hold it where you want so you can glance at something if you need to confirm an item on the checklist has indeed been done or not, it does not take you off the taxi diagram, or approach plate, that the efb does well at presenting, etc... For the job at hand a paper checklist is the most appropriate technology to use. As much as possible I try to employ the KISS philosophy. I would rather get the checklist done and move on to paying attention to where the plane is going and what ATC is saying.

Just brace yourself for the EFB QRC .... let's go all the way!!!!

Yes, The Surface is freezing up in sterile times. At the least de-bug the first "known issues" with the power plan before ripping all the checklist out of the A/C.

SCR and ASAP filed. This is now third time in maybe six days that my POS Surface has frozen during a critical phase of flight.
If they remove the QRCs and put that on the EFB, I'm not getting on the damn airplane.

Same, not sure if it'll do anything but I filed a SCR. Really doubt they'd do a digital QRC, but if they do I'd probably print my own
