ASAP on electronic checklist
I have my own normal procedures checklist printed and laminated. Which I will have to insure is up to date. The company stated one of the reasons was the difficulty of printing and distributing updated checklists to all the planes in an orderly way. How about you don't do it very often, seriously, updating checklist too often has it's own safety issues.
I know I will misplace, leave my personal checklist in another aircraft, at some point. Therefore, it won't be long before I will be forced to use the electronic version and have a good enough safety incident to file an ASAP. So, please, by whatever means necessary provide feedback to chief pilots, administration, FAA personnel, or file ASAP reports. It's fine to have a backup electronic checklist on the EFB, but it is beyond ridiculous to not have a paper copy that stays in each plane. I don't think management realizes how much legal jeopardy they are putting themselves in. Are we not required to have a taxi diagram open while taxiing? How is this reasonably possible if we have to switch over to a different page for a checklist? Obviously, we pilots will get nailed initially for any incident, but I can't see how this would not circle back on the company at some point. It can't be worth the ($5,000?) that is saved every year on not printing checklists. Talk about penny wise and pound foolish.

Here's an idea to cut costs... Do what every single mainline airline does (as does the 175) and print one checklist per plane.
Have you ever had 2 checklists out at a time? It's ridiculous to have 2

True, look at Boeing. There's a checklist "slot" on top center instrument panel. All you need is one.

Has there ever been a time when the pilot group didn't bend over and take it?

How about this, put out a FOIB> new checklist, print and carry or use electronic until all A/C checklist have been updated.
Problem solved.
