12 or so American 200s are coming off contract next month, where do they reappear in the United system?

The MRJs that are coming are now allocated to fly for the Amazon prime service so that will create many more positions

We can't have more than 76 seats until we give up delta connection flying. Sorry to burst your dream bubble

Actually that seems just reasonable enough that it has some creditiblity as a rumor.
I'll believe it if there's something in black and white for evidence, but until then it's just a rumor....as for the 76 seat issue that elmetal points out, a cargo plane would get around that. It'll only need 3 seats (pilots and the JS).
And how I see it as somewhat believable is that Amazon Prime Air works by using subcontractors. Atlas and a few others are flying the 767, using the MRJ or a smaller airframe might make sense going into small cities.

I'm suggesting they can pick up extra flying. OO has shown they like diversification, AA AS, DL, and UA... why not add Amazon to that? Not putting all of their eggs in one basket.

I was implying that OO could use the XJT certificate to operate a plane that they otherwise couldn't operate on the OO certificate. Much like Republic did for years with their certificates of YX and S5.
