I don't doubt that it was in favor of SGU. Do you have any data points at all? Just curious whet they are even thinking other than a $0.50 raise for the next 20 years ...

Flying 121 at age 65 or older is also against the law. FAA simply implements the law and air carriers oblige.
Call Congress if you think the retirement age should be higher. To be honest, Congress won't do anything until cities stop receiving air carrier service because of a pilot shortage.
Rumor from the local FSDO is the FAA will be asking Congress to raise the age to 68 to match the current Social Security retirement age.

Great news/rumor! I am hoping to apply soon but will have less than 6 years until my 65th birthday I'll get to fly for a few extra years
