Does anyone know what the average time is to complete IOE? I have two 4 day IOE trips scheduled. If things go well do I get signed off? If things don't go well then what?

Also, how long is OOE?

Lots of guys getting hired at mainline in their 50's. QOL at AA wholly owned airlines sounds atrocious. The sure way to AA is through a wholly owned. The fastest way to AA is not through a wholly owned.

Not necessarily. Airlines don't have to hire someone just because they're qualified. UA, DL, AA etc can use their discression to hire a pilot. A 55+ y/o pilot doesn't have to get hired if the company feels that their investment won't warrant enough yield.

Not out of training anymore.
Maybe at the end of IOE, maybe. Last 4 classes have gotten ORD, I'd know I'm in one of them.
Most junior guy at sfo is probably a late november hire.

We usually consider a new hire to be awarded a base if they get it before finishing training. If you are initially awarded ORD, but get a transfer to your base of choice before the completion of training, isn't it like you were never based in ORD?......cuz you weren't.
By the way, IOE is considered a part of training.

How much time is allowed to elapse between the interview and starting class before one would have to re-interview? Is it 3 months?
