Very vague. It can vary.
I spent 1 year in reserve in ORD. Flew as little as 0 hours one month and as much as 66 another.
ORD had at one point more reserves than line holders, it came down a bit, but it is back up again.

After a year, how much do all the bonus checks(profit sharing/performance) add up to for a new captain? Lets say one being on reserve and the other being a line holder......

Why the blazing heck would any mainline pilot care whether we open a new base out west? And then come onto the regional forum just to make a ***** comment like that? Who does that, seriously?

Any reason why they had more reserves than line holders?

What's your guys policy on nighttime visuals? Qx's just got restricted to established on a IAP before accepting a visual at night

Nothing required (that I have seen) but many (most?) guys operate as if we did have a requirement, including me. If CAVU the full approach brief is typically waved and definitely not joined at the IAF.
Even during the day I think most guys load a proper approach in the box, I know I rarely see a visual built.
