It's better than that...$2k per pilot recommended, hired, and who successfully passes training and IOE.

It'll probably be a former SkyWest guy doing the recommending from within Delta, too. They're hiring a ton of our captains lately.

And my rational for participating in a skywest thread as an expressjet pilot, are you kidding me? For one, this is an open forums, not a SAPA forum. Two, why are you discussing XJT on a Skywest thread then? Three, we are both owned by Skywest, Inc. Or are us scum over here not good enough for you since we don't have those bad ass E175's and your UWET that you get?
Man you were looking for a flight instructor job like six years ago.

Delta pours tens of millions of dollars into Signing Bonuses and Retention bonuses for the Endeavor pilot group.

Honestly, can you not connect dots my friend?
Bonuses started after delta bought them in BK to provide a lower bid as companies like Skywest had a clause requiring them to be the second cheapest delta feed, considering gojet got delta planes to be one of the cheapest another like endeavor would really force companies to be cheaper, problem is no one would come to a bankrupt Airline so they had to offer bonuses and make it for a number of years to incentivize people especially military who didn't care about upgrade.
Endeavor is not around to be deltas only feed, at most they were purchased to provide lift ar the regional level that delta can control should other lift providers go under, which is not happening yet.

Thank you!
$900/mo in Logan is going to be tough. That has been a hot, up and coming neighborhood for years. Not sure how close to the city you want to be, but the farther out you go, the more reasonable the rent. Along the Blue Line, Avondale is a new hot area, Iriving and Old Irving are really nice, Jefferson Park and Edison Park are great areas too. Good luck!

Cumberland whilst not hip, trendy or with many bars is very affordable and the closest to the airport. It's the first stop on the train to airport, further from downtown but I think downtown is a bit overrated if nightlife is your thing then Logan etc is better and more reasonably price drinks

What does that have to do with anything at all?

Now is a totally different time. Delta realized that half their feed was going belly up if they didn't prop them up. When times get tough again, I have no doubt Delta will drop that bonus/prop up in no time. It not because Delta loves using WO for their feed. It's because they had to.

What a dumb comment. A hundered different investors could have bought XJT in BK renegotiated the contract and submitted a bid to operate E-jets for United applying downward pressure on SW CPA profit margins.

You'll never be able to calculate the profit margin loss of competing with XJT for flying vs. owning them and absorbing their losses.
