It just involved standups not any other sort of trip when combined with a four day.

My guess is they got a lot of sick calls for the standups, which they then have to pay time and a half to get covered. So they're not really concerned about you working 5+ days in a row - just having to cover the standups.

Had a first this month with a trip removed because of month block limit. Took a great paying 3 day away and replaced it with a horrible 2 day. Then it put two 3 day trips back to back with 12 hours in base from my layer 7 so it could make sure to give me the 90 hours I didn't bid for. I open up my layer 7 so that it can't drop off and assign me CN\PN.

This crap should not be happening to anyone, let alone someone in the top 30%. I don't want to hit my 100 in 28 days, but I am getting forced by PBS to fly that much. No way to drop or trade anything and we are in April which is supposed to our slow time.

Come to SkyWest!! You get to fly a ton. Just ignore all those 175 guys complaining about how they are getting payed 75 hours a month to sit home.

I loved the announcement about the PBS screw up. "SAPA has noticed an elevated number of PBS failures" So as a pilot group we have just become immune to the PBS errors that happen each month, and SGU just hopes that we will just accept it. If someone pushes hard enough, their bid will be adjusted. But only for the person complaining and not for everyone junior to that person. Nothing is ever done to fix the error within the PBS system so that it doesn't happen again.

I wonder what the elevated number has to be that we actually get communication out PBS screwed up. And why is it we don't care about people getting their bids wacked out each month with PN/CN that is due to low staffing. But if someone has to spend a night where they didn't want to, then we need to fix it right away?? I don't get it.

Default Skywest v2.0

My entire month was CN/PN. Locals, 2 days, a couple 3 days and 4 day. I'm a commuter and want 4 days. I thought short trips went senior. And about the no standups next to a 4 day. PBS gave me 2 day, then a local, then a standup! I see fatigue calls all month. I literally want to commute to reserve again.

The bids should be published so we all know just how bad we are getting hosed. I got a CN on a weekend I bid off and two people I know that bid 50% below me have the weekend off.

Now why would they go and do that? Then we'd see that seniority isn't being honored. Which we all know but some choose to not believe.
