Am I understanding that right? They're not letting ERJ FOs upgrade into the CRJ? That is downright crazy.... What do we need so many ERJ reserves for? Are we about to receive more of them but they just have not announced it yet? I can't think of any logical reason why it would be so. If it makes our ERJ brethren feel better they have capped how many of us CRJers can transition over to the other side. Ugh

I just want to be based in Denver I know good things take time but it seems like every other base is attainable. And then there's Denver... and Houston sadly

I look at the staffing for Denver and it looks bare bones, so I'm not sure why no one is awarded it. Feels like being kicked when traditionally senior bases like PSP and such are awarded straight out of training. Put me in Aspen, doesn't matter to me

67 lines this winter. October November is around 15 lines. Typical winter increase, little bit larger this year.

I'm kicking myself so bad right now. This is what happens when you don't take the first upgrade available. I was on vacation when Virginia called me asking if I wanted the transition in October since a spot opened up. I declined thinking I'd get into the first class in November not realizing the 2 a month are for currently qual'd CRJ drivers not transitions like myself. Well no big deal I thought I'll just get into the 11/29 class and life will be all good.... Fast forward to today and yeah this stinks. The only reason I'm upset is that we're so overstaffed on the 175 in ORD where I'm based and that there should be no reason we don't get to transition. My advice to those of you contemplating an upgrade or when to take a class is this, take the first opportunity you get because you never know when one hiccup can happen.

Here are the real numbers from united and delta: men are 92% and 93% of those hired at these two legacies since 2014 hiring resumed. Here's a shot straight from the ALPA magazine:

WAI says 6% of total pilots are women. Considering the aging of a more male-heavy legacy group, I think it would be hard to prove that women are currently being hired wildly outside of their proportion of regional pilots.
while you are at it ... do you mind posting a picture of the right part of the page ... I assume it shows what prior airline they flew for?

Any "qualification" comparisons?
