Anywhere but den if you wanna avoid aspen. You can just transfer back in in December when they start aspen flying more heavily. If you're not quald you won't fly it.

COS does not so ASE. Only DEN pilots do ASE. If you are planning on transferring to a different base to get out of ASE, you should probably let them know and they'll take you out of ASE training.

They don't care. We had guys last year saying "don't train me, I'm not flying it, I'm transferring" still went to sim line check etc the whole 9.

Transfered out and never flew it. Skywest doesn't care because they don't pay for the training, united does.

Default PSA retention bonus just tripled

From $5,000 to $15,000, any word on whether SkyWest is about to increase their incentives? Discuss!

Maybe that is what management is going to do with all the money they save from not offering relocation incentives with Houston closing? Pretty shady stuff SGU is doing with that closing, but we all know any extra money should be spent on new hires and not those that have been reliable employees for multiple years.

Are they giving all the Houston flying to Expressjet?

No. Why would they? The only reason why AA increased the bonuses at their wholly-owned regionals is because they were/are burning dumpster fires in terms of staffing. AA was acting out of pure desperation. (I wonder why......????)

SkyWest is having absolutely no problems filling classes. Not only are they covering for attrition, they're adding an additional 20-30 new pilots to the seniority list every month.

As long as they are filling classes, and can get people through the door, there is zero reason why SkyWest would increase bonuses.
