anyone have any idea how the aspen training works? Just got awarded it and curious on how bidding works. Thanks

Really? The pilot profit sharing check comes twice a year, this is the third one total. Or were you referring to the amount?

There are three days of sim, then you'll observe some Aspen flights, then some OE with a LCA. Once you are signed off, you'll be able to bid. Bidding is done with hard lines. You get an email with a PDF and you email the lines you want in order of preference. You fly with the same captain for the whole month if you are a line holder (with the exception of swaps/drops/trades/etc).

Typically, yes. You'll probably get Christmas and maybe NYD off since the instructors are somewhat senior and don't want to work those days. SIM will run every day of the year. This is normal for all airlines.
