How right you are. When I was on RSV I ended up running into a guy I knew who was based in USA while I was in SFO. He'd been OBR'd to SFO, and I was running to catch my deadhead to...yup, IAH to sit reserve.

Neither of us got called to fly. But hey, at least CS managed to keep their reserve utilization level up!

Not singling out Skw, I'm saying all airlines because the Margin of safety isn't big enough in aspen

For proof, how about literally anything other than word of mouth rumors.

I still haven't received the email so prob tomorrow. The SAPA guys were informing everyone today. What's really nice is the company is not going to offer incentives to anyone like past base closures.

I'm debating on taking a fourlough.

Will they allow a furlough without incentive to move? That's ridiculous on their part.

Check out RJ's comment under the "announcement" on the SAPA website. Sounds like it's NOT a done deal yet.

Taking a furlough? Do you mean quitting?

The company gets to decide WHERE the relocation incentive will be offered (hint: its DTW), not IF it is offered. SP3022.

Now, the company doesn't have to offer an incentive until the end, but if you don't bid out voluntarily you MUST be offered a relocation incentive.
