Skywest v2.0
#2191
Hello SkyWesters. Question, if I were to chose the E-jet, I hear the most junior base would be ORD. Can anyone confirm that? If so, what's the current reserve time there?
I also heard RJ pilots fly more, is that because there are too many E-Jet drivers?
Thanks for the help!

I called the PBS help line to learn how to use "bid avoid". I had worked there a couple years, and flown with many people, before wanting to use that feature. But one person really stood out in a bad way and it was clear I should not share a flight deck with them again. The person I spoke with was very helpful with the PBS issue, but also suggested that I make a call to professional standards (we did not get into specifics about my issue).
I didn't make that call, and I should have. Just something to consider after your bid avoid.... for the sake of everyone else in your seat.

Gentlemen, I know this is probably a dumb question. I'm trying to access PBS but it still giving me invalid user/password even though I've had access before this bid period started. I'm on a camping trip overseas so it is very difficult to contact the company during their normal operating hours, not that I could send and receive calls reliably anyway. The PBS "helpline" doesn't seem to be the right solution for me but there is no email listed. Thanks for your time.

I don't have many regrets from my SkyWest experience, but there is one that stands out:

Ya... About that, you can't have the apples and hide the oranges. They are not all growth. The original horizon planes on the delta side are leaving, and we have 20 coming for United.
We also have 53 700's coming off contract that they "feel confident" they can find homes for. They have placed seven on the American, but then they said the 200's for American are going away.
No one will know if it's growth until it's done.
