There were 3 in my class - 1 washed out - and was then heading to PHX to try to get an interview at Mesaba before she had to leave the country.

I also think we're still bringing in a decent new hire size because of the new ATL base. The only other option for ATL is Endeavor and they've even stopped interviewing, much less having class dates 6+ months in advance.

The Aussies can be here and in class just as fast as anyone in the states. It takes no time to get the visa. I know some that had the interview and were in class a week later.

Mesaba has been gone since about 2008 so how exactly was this person going to get an interview without a time machine?

I think they meant Mesa in Phoenix.

Does calling an EMER allow you to not use user time if you want to forfeit the credit?

No they take your user time. They will not let you take time off with no pay.

Not doubting your statement just pointing out a fact here; last ATL job fair had 5 people interview.

Many pilots that live in ATL are/were ASA. It will be a cold day in SGU before they go to work for Skywest. Skywest has made quite a name for themselves in ATL.

Default Re-picking up trips...

Is there a time limit to when a lineholder can re-pick up their trip? Or a requirement for CS to notify the assigned RSV crew?
Got assigned a 2day-pairing yesterday for today. 1hr 20min prior to showtime CS calls to cancel the assigned trip. Luckily i’m close enough to the airport and was still in my neighborhood but still that’s annoying.

Line holder benefit.
They can pick up their trip any time when the trip touches a domicile ((SIP).
The only restriction is if said trip is given to a different line holder who has been called to help out. It would now be that line holders trip and the original line holder has no right to it.
I understand your frustration though.
