How long have you been in this industry? (Me 21 years) SkyWest will catch up, this has been going on for years. Look back to the 90’s. Comair,Wisconsin,ACA, got a raise. Within a year or 2 everyone matches, no different now.. And by lowest I assume you ment FO starting pay... Just have some patience. By summer will have a TA. By fall, a flow.. these forum boards haven’t changed in 20 years either!!!
Those numbers are not true. I have gotten calls (didn’t answer) from them to cover flights that were in danger of canceling for lack of staffing and watched them code the cancelation as weather or maintenance when it didn’t get covered.

Yup. I’ve had flights cancel for “weather” after we timed out because there wasn’t reserves.

It is in fact a legal contract, signed by both parties. I did a real estate deal last week, didn't have any unions involved in that contract either. The enforcement mechanism is different than with a union.
