Besides the last update from RJ a few days ago, not that I'm aware of. Pay comparison discussions are being focused around Republic and Endeavor. I'll be interested to see in a couple months what RJ brings to the table...

An industry leading embarrassment!
It will not even be close to Republic or Endeavor!
Their block vs our historical credit garbage?
Their work rules vs SkyWest?
Their training rules vs SkyWest?

Right now we are at a net loss of -2 pilots for March. They can fill the class, but can't keep them around.
"On September 6, 2017, SkyWest Airlines reported that it has entered into aircraft purchase agreements and capacity purchase agreements to acquire and fly 15 new aircraft with Delta Air Lines and 10 new aircraft with Alaska Airlines. Of the 25 aircraft, 15 Embraer E175 SC aircraft will fly under an agreement with Delta in a 70-seat configuration. The E175 SC aircraft has an E175 airframe and can be retrofitted to 76 seats in the future. The agreement with Alaska includes 10 Embraer E175s, which will be configured with 76 seats, similar to aircraft SkyWest has previously placed into service with Alaska. Expected delivery dates of the 25 aircraft run from March 2018 through the end of 2018.[18]"
There truly is a shortfall of people QUALIFIED to be regional airline pilots, at least at current levels if remuneration in the regionals. Ignoring that reality is not the path to success for any airline. When LCC are gleefully hiring away even experienced FOs, it is time for regional airline management - even at Skywest - to acknowledge that reality.
I’m guessing they will acknowledge it pretty quick contrary to everyone’s opinion on here. They can’t afford to be parking planes when they own them. -2 ain’t going to get it done. As stated they need to be growing the pilot group not just maintaining.

I can’t keep up with the 175 travel benefits. Which airline’s benefits do 175 pilots get based at ORD?
This is the pay scale for a Spirit FO for the three different Airbus models they fly:
3 112 112 112
2 104 104 104
1 56 56 56
These are their hiring requirements:
Minimums: 2,000 Total Time in Fixed Wing Aircraft 1,000 Multi-engine Aircraft
Preferred: 3,000 Total Time in Fixed Wing Aircraft 1,500 in multi-engine, multi-crew, turboprop or jet aircraft
....
It would seem like all of the captains and upgrade qualified FOs at Skywest qualify. Time for the management of the regional airlines, ALL OF THE REGIONAL AIRLINES INCLUDING SKYWEST,to deal with today's reality.

The most obvious thing will save the regional model is a recession.
If the recession doesn’t happen, the interesting question to me is do all those affiliated with “major partner” understand that they are tied to the success of the regional model?

Is there any wait time for a class date on the 175 or CRJ? Hoping training isn't backed up here like it is at 9E, thanks!
Who is tied to the success of the regional model? Other than regional lifers?
