Who are you all voting for VP? Anyone know them personally outside of the bios written.

Haven’t talked to him but appreciated his willingness to communicate with the pilot group (old SAPA forums) when the rest of SAPA was on a conference call with itself.
Whether that is a good reason or not...bios are always going to be “white & vanilla “ anyway.

Just to hop on the RJ topic. No idea how that guy continues to get voted in, but he isn't my rep so I have no say.
Talked to him once, nothing he said made me feel like he was on my side. Sounded entirely like a management shill and everything he said was in support of company and condescending to me. I just ask my chief questions now. He's more helpful and honest, even though he's actually management...

But advocating unions in public is a non-go for SAPA people, I think it even used to be in the by-laws? In any event such a stance would make you persona non grata in SGU, and would thus be counter-productive to getting things done in the sapa context.

In RJ's defense, he would love to be the SKW ALPA MEC chair.

That would be beyond pathetic if SAPA had no idea that this was considered.
There was a major time crunch to get the TA through and it was not for the growth but the pending 9E TA.

Endeavor did not come out of nowhere with raises. They still make the same as they made before their new TA. All they did was take away the 20k retention bonuses and work them into the pay scales.
RJ specifically said we cannot use bonuses to represent our competitors pay as endeavor was working their bonuses into pay rates. That’s pretty fishy. SAPA knew this was happening. And if by some means they had no idea then they do not have he necessary intel or information to be negotiating our “contracts”.
Who knows maybe SAPA knows something I don’t and they are using this as leverage. Wishful thinking.
