reflow.jpg

Why does this thought go through my head when reading how much money we are going to make on the reflow policy??

Wink

It should be simple in my opinion.

ANY REFLOW should be 150% ON TOP of daily credit

You have an MDG day with 2x 1:30 flights (3:00 block for 4:00 credit) and they want to add 2 45 minute turns to your day?

that'll be 1:30 extra credit at 1.5X on top of the 4 hours. so 6:15. those 2 flights will cost them 2:15 minutes, it'll make them think twice before reflowing.

At the VERY least 100% on top of original credit.

This whole: Let's schedule a local at 4:00 credit MDG with a 5 hour sit, then in those 5 hours make the pilot fly more for free is BS.

but maybe we should just focus on payscales right guys? that's all that matters.......

Default Call today??

Anyone able to listen to the call today? The only thing I heard was that the new policy doesn't apply to reserves, which makes sense because none of our other policies do either.

Anything else? I haven't seen the notes from the call updated like they usually are. Is SAPA taking cover and hoping the firestorm will eventually pass?

Sounds like there needs to be some recall elections if this EFB notification even comes close to passing. They are wanting to turn all line holders into reserves and not be responsible for any of the crappy line constructions.

The company just said they will not pay protect pilots that time out due to 117 and SAPA is now going to give them the ability to add more free flying....

I can't believe this is even being considered

I actually thought the same thing as I sit here and try to make my PBS bid be able to award me 90 hours and keep some of the trips I want.

Never mind, I have given up on trying to get what I want and what my seniority should hold. I just take the beating and ask for some more. Sure glad our SAPA EB hasn't had to worry about trivial things like getting shafted each month on your award or not being able to post or trade a trip for the past 5 months. Let's add concrete language so I can be disciplined for not wanting to change my schedule. If you want me flying on my 3 hour sit in SEA, THEN FREAKING SCHEDULE THE FLYING IN THE BID!!! So I don't have to work 6 on 2 off then get more flying on top of it!!

Past 5 months? Try the last year and a half.

Sorry I should've clarified. You're right, we haven't been able to drop anything to a reserve for that long. In Oct, I was able to post some trips that someone picked up. I was only awarded 80 hours in Nov since I used a couple vacation days.

What a joke. 1-2-3?
9-9-9, what are doing? Selling pizzas here?
Cut the crap and time and a half for the entire trip. Reflow is coming and it will affect FOs who get paid the least the most. Captains wont get the payday but it will be the first officers that are in a staffing pinch and it will be them who get that reflow for a sweet sweet $50 post tax disregard for seniority. Company really projects two reflows a month? That is 40% of the trips I bid for a month!

Reflow is coming. Time and a half or they can move unilaterally.
