Yes, im sure the pilots went to mgt and requested that they create a regional

Pilots time and time again have shown the majority don't want a union. Hard pill for you to swallow, isn't it? Seems the airline is running just fine without one. You are going to just have to deal with it, and honestly, should be more worried about what you are doing instead of everyone else.
Copy and paste that.

Plus it is perfectly acceptable to ignore seniority and give someone that has been here six months a base that 5 more senior pilots want and should be able to hold. AS LONG as it is in the best interests of the company. SGU doesn't care about your years of service or doing what's right.

Your not going to get any sympathy from someone that has been here 22 years, bids in the top 5 and is on a plane that's not cramming 90+ hours on their schedule each month.

Trust me, I definitely don't hold my breadth in Skywest pilots doing something for themselves as certifying a union. So there is nothing to deal with other than pointing out the tail coat riding (you can copy and past that little hands. And I do have a plan b for when xjt finally implodes.
I thought you said you didn't care what people say yet here you are, not only reading threads but responding to them.
By the way, why are [deleted] ?

Oh ya, please explain how? And While you're at it, please explain how ALPA hasn't improved this industry, and give me just one example of something Skywest or your beloved SAPA has done for the betterment of the profession. I don't even know how you can say that you don't reap some benefits that ALPA has worked hard to get. Yet you don't support them at all financially. That puts more of a financial burden on the pilots paying dues that are trying to make this profession better. ALPA might have its shortfalls, especially in the regional arena, but those shortfalls are exasperated by a fairly large undermining pilot group. I think if everyone would stand together you would see bigger gains. And don't even get me started on how Inc. $hits on their Union side of Express Jet. Sad to see little to no support from the Skywest side even though every aspect of their Union contract is the bases for yours.

Not honoring senority is a slippery slope. Don't think it won't get to you with your glorious 22 years.

So why should the company honor your senority for your bids? What makes you so much more special than a guy that has been here 6 months? You are the type FO's have to babysit in the sim every year for recurrent.

Sorry I should've used my sarcasm tag. I was reffering to the guy that is not a 22 year PDX Captian. There are currently 5 FO's with transition bids in to the 175 PDX that have way more seniority than the plug who has been here 6 months. Seniority is everything in this industry but SAPA can't do anything to help, so they would rather just work on a reflow policy that the company really wants and I'm sure won't abuse at all.
