OK, but you guys don't have the income levels to support an inhouse union with low percentage dues leaving you with Teamsters or ALPA. I'd go with the one who specializes in airline pilots. But unless you are planning a career there it's almost irrelevant isn't it?

I mean surely they can't be worse than the status quo...?

Correct! Completely irrelevant. Many seem to believe that all their wildest dreams will come true once ALPA is on property... Best plan is to simply move up to a career carrier that actually has (and can afford) what people want.

Yeah, because leaving the place even a little better is too much work. Wait till the EFB notification hits, gonna be some panties bunched up!

Not what I said. I said ALPA is irrelevant at the regional level. Been there done that and got nothing but concessionary contracts. But go ahead and vote them in. Just don't be surprised to find you are no better off than where you were.

Sorry man, crashed the party here by an accidental click but got curious reading. Hope this non union thing keeps working out for you guys. Seems like it's done just about as bad as about as a union like ALPA would have. Good thing you saved the 2%; adds up at regional pilot pay scales (in good humor..).

Fly safe fellas!

It's all good I do miss the magazine subscription though with the sudoku puzzle in the back! I guess I'll have to wait for Delta... I'm a
"tier"10 applicant though so it could be a while

Agreed. At this point I'd campaign heavily against ALPA at this regional (or any regional).
