This would be even better. Sadly, I think Envoy will slowly go the way of ExpressJet.t

You're right, priorities. 1) headset 2) ipad. Wonder how much money we waste and replacing headsets and gel pads every year. Figured they would be all over that.

Pilots made a business decision not to accept lower pay. Management made a business decision to place the airplanes somewhere else if they can which remains to be seen.

There are consequences. Pilots in the short term may not get to fly new jets and they may go elsewhere for other pilots to fly. But the long term benefits are where the pilots decision pays off, and hopefully for the entire industry.
Easy to say when you're not the guy putting his livelihood on the line to say "enough is enough" and help keep all the rest of our salaries from going down because of the fall in industry standard. If you don't believe that....well believe it. I'm at Compass and several issues on our new contract were decided by an arbitrator that settled the issues with an "industry standard" compromise. A few results of that were a meager 1.25% pay raise (less than inflation), increased health care prices, and decreased 401k match.

I know business is business and companies make the choices they make based on bottom lines, but give the Envoy guys the respect they deserve for helping keep your contract from going down next time it's up for negotiation.

It's hard to believe you don't understand how supply and demand "normally" should work. Many of the foreign airlines are having to farm US pilots because they don't have enough of their own to fly their planes. The difference is that foreign airlines PAY the pilots because they know those pilots are not going to make lifestyle/professional sacrifices for low wages.

Oh man I took my headset off one time and I saw some squishy gel on my finger. Then I felt the side of my head and the freaking gel broke and got all over the side of my head.

So what's your point? Everyone knows that. We're not entitled to anything, everything will simply work itself out. Airlines will pay more or go out of business. Either that or FAA will lower the hours and pilots will come in droves begging for the abuse.

I applaud what envoy pilots have done, its good for the industry and the pilot group. But they don't deserve anything out of some entitlement mentality. Hopefully their decision will pay off in the future, its was a long term strategy.

Note the use of the word "should."

I shook my 8 ball and asked “which airline would be the best play” It said the Envoy 700s will go to ASA which will have one list with Xjt and be staffed by 130and 40s coming off United side. Skw or TSH will get whipsaw share of 175 and Envoy will get the rest and staff from 700 void.
