Default SkyWest pilots approve pay proposal.

1608 voted to accept the pay proposal (62.4%)
968 voted to decline the pay proposal (37.6%)
2576 of 3164 voted (81.4%)

These numbers are as reported to the SkyWest pilot group on sapapilot.org

It's kind of an indifferent thing. 80% of the pilot group got a pay freeze.

I voted yes, it's only one year. Some Bro FO's got a nice raise, and we start the process again in a few months. Otherwise we would all have gotten nothing, and started the process again in a few months. Helps reduce the federal food stamp budget.

No way to do any better without a union, and even then we could get under-bid by mesa, et al.

The bro pay raise was an attractive offer but was it really worth giving up 2 year seat locks to the company to give 20% of the pilot group a raise? When negotiations come up again in a year what bargaining chip can we bring to the table that the company would accept in return for a pay raise? We're kind of left hoping the pilot shortage actually happens so we have leverage.

You voted wrong. Negotiations 101. You don't swallowed the first offer pal. There was piles of money left on the table. GMAFB
