I wouldn't be so sure about the first part. People seem to be unhappy with SAPA and the company recently. I wouldn't be surprised to see another union drive in the next few years. I think there are a lot of people who want a union, but also a lot of people who are unhappy with the unions that are available.

Yeah, well what I'm trying to say is that one list will be easier if you certify SAPA so that all pilot groups can actually collaborate at the negotiating table.
In any case, it doesn't matter what letters you use to call your union, they will still be made up of the same pilots regardless. That's why it doesn't matter to me if we go with SAPA. It'll be the same thing because it's the same pilots.

My opinion is for most guys sending one dollar up the chain to national alpa would be a non starter. Every dollar would have to be spent advocating for SWInc pilots and no other group.

Hardly think this is an overwhelming vote of confidence. More like 62% didn't think they could do any better or thought the year long duration made it palatable.

I enjoy my MRY, SAN, YYJ overnights too, on the jet. Not all of the Bro overnights are peaches and creme, especially in the SLC system. Good overnights have more to do with your domicile than equipment, and both RJ and Bro have fun and lousy overnight locations. Go with the type that gives you the most desirable base for living/commuting. Pay is on par for both now, so its an easier choice than before.

Let me put it to you this way. A newer pilot just gets 1500 hours and has the opportunity to go to the regionals. Been flying props for the last 1500. What do you think they wanna fly when they get 1500? Maybe later on when QOL becomes an issue they might change their mind.
