Yet you admitted that you know nothing about what happened at 9E during bankruptcy with regards to 1113c proceedings. CLUELESS.....

Take the BigRig out of your arse. I left 9E before that crap came down the pipe. Clueless, would've been if I stayed.

For example, the judge would have approved paying newly upgraded captains year 1 pay even though they had years, sometimes up to 8 years, of longevity with the company. Can you imagine what that would have done to the industry? The list goes on and on. YEs, the judge could have imposed that upon the pilot group if a better deal wasn't negotiated. I think you must have been sleeping in law class when you learned about bankruptcy and contract law. It's basic 101 law knowledge so I'm thinking you may have wasted a lot of money. Sucks.
I'm not specifically speaking about the course of action taken at 9E. The original conversation started regarding the legal aspects of the 1113C bankruptcy rules, guide lines and parameters. In reference to this; did the 9E group drop the proverbial bar as low as possible given their situation, no. However, to say all options where exhausted and that you "won" is not a true statement in my opinion given the multitude of various other courses of action (via 1113C and bankruptcy contract law) that could have been taken to preserve the industry as a whole. However, I will admit these courses of action would have come at a much greater consequence to the active 9E pilot group. I was in favor of the later and also well aware of the fact that this would not be the chosen course of action so I left.

As frustrating as this industry can be and given the sheer volume of Monday morning quarter backing that goes on I tend to try and stay out of conversations like this on forums. I am going to retreat back to this idea and leave it at that. Wish everyone well in 2014 and keep the greasy side down!

Probably shouldn't have spouted off with this gem then.

PSA / Endeavor still think you had no choice?

Some will never see the big picture...
I don't know if we had a choice or not, but 9E had a specific threat of shutdown if we did not take the deal.

I don't see anywhere near that kind of pressure on anyone else.

I don't think anyone is bashing the culture of SKW. Yeah lots of kool aid is consumed but that's just because there's a lot of pride in the company by the pilots. Honestly management treats you better than most regionals' management. The issue some have on here is when those ignorant people post things that are just flat wrong and ill informed about what has taken place at other airlines. Posting false claims and pretending to understand what it's like to be at an airline that's in bankruptcy and being threatened to be shut down in a matter of months (straight from delta managements mouth). It's more complicated than most understand.

Yep, and when anyone else gets their chance to vote, they can just vote NO, for the sake of the industry.
